WHO WE ARE

cultivating Creativity, confidence, & Compassion

We are here to cultivate creativity, confidence, and compassion within our community of Leon County and the surrounding areas.

OUR VISION

The mission of STAGE11 is to provide Tallahassee and the surrounding area with a supplementary theater education program that provides unique opportunities to youth and adults, especially those who normally wouldn’t have access. Those in our program will feel engaged with and accepted by the theater community while teaching them lifelong practical and social skills through theater and communication that will help them in all aspects of their lives as they move forward.

Our goal is to equip future generations of artists with the tools they need to develop theatrical and social skills, and through this enrich the theatrical community of Tallahassee. By doing this, they will develop independence, self confidence, and critical thinking skills they need to achieve future goals.

OUR MISSION

We will be producing 2-4 shows a year, with weekly to biweekly rehearsals and workshops during both the school year and summer. The four slots will be assigned according to these categories: musical for ages 13 to 20, a play or musical for ages 7-16, musical for ages 13 and under, and musical or flex show for children and adults (all ages). In addition to providing workshops in which kids can learn about theater, with having the options of being on-stage, setting up lights and sound, working on set or on backstage crew, selling concessions during performances and fundraising nights, and overall helping to raise funds for special projects.
